Dr. Martin Kaufman

Dr. Kaufman founded the New Castle Veterinary Hospital in 1994. He received his veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1986.

Lydia Stockert
Receptionist

Lydia has been in the veterinary field for the past 5 years and enjoys greeting all the pets and their owners at the front desk each day. Lydia rescued two dogs from the local shelter and has given them a warm and loving home where her and her family enjoy long walks with their new four legged friends each day.

Danielle LaVerde
LVT

Currently enrolled in the Vet program at Mercy College, Danielle is an aspiring Technician. On her free time she enjoys vacationing and playing with her rescued cats Axle Rose and Toller Stella.

Danielle's love for animals has always been apparent since she was a young girl. Pursuing her love, she enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Mercy College. Currently a veterinary assistant, she hopes to one day become a licensed technician. Danielle's job has spilled over into her personal life where she volunteers at local shelters. Danielle shares her home with her rescued pets and they all enjoy spending time outdoors or curling up on the couch to watch a good movie.
