Dr. Kaufman

Dr. Kaufman founded the New Castle Veterinary Hospital in 1994. He received his veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1986.

Stephanie Fitzgerald
Office Manager

Having attended both grooming school in NYC and the Veterinary Technician Program at Mercy College, Stephanie initially started with NCVH as a Veterinary Technician and shortly thereafter became Office Manager. Her passion for the care of animals soon spilled over into human care as in 2000 she received her certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Currently Stephanie divides her day between her own massage therapy practice and role as Office Manager of NCVH. Stephanie cares for several of her own animals including Lota, a 7 month old Rotweiler, a stray kitten named Spider, and Kali, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. Kali recently became a certified therapy dog for the Good Dog Therapy Foundation, an organization that benefits people through animal assisted therapy.
